What is a remanufactured cartridge? |
An empty or used original cartridge which has been refilled and refurbished to a high standard. Remanufactured cartridges should not be confused with refilled cartridges. Refilled cartridges are only refilled with ink or toner and are not subject to the thorough refurbishment process that remanufactured cartridges undertake. |
| |
This process includes cleaning and dismantling the cartridges followed by replacing any internal or external components which are critical to the operation of the cartridge. The cartridges are then refilled and professionally reassembled before undergoing a number of quality control tests. |
| |
Remanufactured cartridges contain the equivalent quality of ink or Toner as original cartridges. They are the environmentally friendly and cost effective option for your printer consumable requirements. |

What are the advantages of remanufactured cartridge? |
Remanufactured cartridges create jobs: Purchasing remanufactured toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges and recycling the empties are two ways to create jobs and strengthen the local economy. |
| |
Remanufactured cartridges save energy: Approximately three quarts of oil are burned in the production of a single new toner cartridge. A used cartridge can be remanufactured up to 4 times depending on type and condition, saving up to three quarts of fuel each time. Now you can think and calculate how much of energy can be saved every year by using these remanufactured cartridges. |
| |
Remanufacturing minimizes waste: Remanufacturing cartridges decreases the amount of plastic, steel, aluminium and rubber sent to land fills and burned in incinerators. |

What is the difference between refilling and remanufacturing a laser printer cartridge? |
| |
Laser cartridge is made of many parts i.e. OPC drum, Doctor Blade, Magnetic Roller, sleeve, toner powder etc. All these components are fitted in one plastic shell.
In refilling only a toner powder is changed, whereas in remanufacturing except outer plastic shell, all other components including toner powder is replaced with new. This makes your cartridge becomes absolutely new and that too at 50% cheaper than OEM cartridge.
