ABOUT WIPER BLADE:
1. What is a Wiper Blade?

The wiper blade is a polyurethane strip that drives over the length of the drum and covers the waste bin.
The Wiper blade cleans residual toner off the OPC Drum after every print cycle. If the toner is not cleaned during the process of printing unwanted image may pass through and may result in a ghosted/repeated image, scratch marks, or lines on the page.
The edge of the wiper blade must be precision sharp and smooth. The slightest little nick, scratch, or bow will spoil the print result. The wiper blade scrapes the toner from the drum and drops it into the waste bin.
